Mermaid Beach Nippers
Gold Coast Volkswagen is proud to be an official sponsor of the Mermaid Beach Nippers. 
This sponsorship allows Gold Coast Volkswagen to support the local community that supports us.
The Mermaid Beach Surf club mission is to provide excellence in surf life saving services to Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast.
In particular, Gold Coast Volkswagen sponsors the Nippers program which provides education and training to 300 junior members. Children between 6 and 14 gather every Sunday morning during summer to hone their beach and surf skills.
The goal of the nippers is to provide an enjoyable introduction into the surf environment and to prepare children to be our future lifesavers and achieve Bronze Medallion Award- the starting point for the senior lifesavers.
