We are currently recruiting an efficient and confident Workshop Controller to join our Audi Team at Southport.
What we are looking for:- Experience leading a team of Automotive Technicians to ensure achievement of productivity, efficiency and quality targets
- A strong service background involving supervising technicians & apprentices in the carrying out of repair order instructions
- Excellent technical ability based on trade qualification in order to assist with technical diagnosis and with any complications arising from productive staff in the carrying out of repair order instructions
- Oversee OH&S procedures & ensure staff adherence
- Control workshop scheduling and completing associated administration
- Sound communication and people skills
- A strong customer service focus
- Working knowledge of computer systems (ERA knowledge desirable)
- Current manual drivers licence
What the role entails:
- Preparing, supervising and controlling workshop activities
- Leading, supporting, assisting and coaching Technicians and Apprentices
- Road testing vehicles with customers and diagnosing concerns
- Quality assurance
- Fix it right first time and ensuring customer satisfaction targets are achieved
- Maintenance of workshop tools, equipment and workshop area in a clean and orderly appearance
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Maintaining a system for control of defective warranty parts and correct disposal
