    We are currently recruiting an efficient and confident Workshop Controller to join our Audi Team at Southport.

    What we are looking for:

    • Experience leading a team of Automotive Technicians to ensure achievement of productivity, efficiency and quality targets
    • A strong service background involving supervising technicians & apprentices in the carrying out of repair order instructions
    • Excellent technical ability based on trade qualification in order to assist with technical diagnosis and with any complications arising from productive staff in the carrying out of repair order instructions
    • Oversee OH&S procedures & ensure staff adherence
    • Control workshop scheduling and completing associated administration
    • Sound communication and people skills
    • A strong customer service focus
    • Working knowledge of computer systems (ERA knowledge desirable)
    • Current manual drivers licence

    What the role entails:

    • Preparing, supervising and controlling workshop activities
    • Leading, supporting, assisting and coaching Technicians and Apprentices
    • Road testing vehicles with customers and diagnosing concerns
    • Quality assurance
    • Fix it right first time and ensuring customer satisfaction targets are achieved
    • Maintenance of workshop tools, equipment and workshop area in a clean and orderly appearance
    • Maintaining a safe working environment
    • Maintaining a system for control of defective warranty parts and correct disposal
